About RITRUT

RITRUT was born out of the desire to document our son’s milestones and family history while also preserving historical narratives from our parents and extended family. We wanted to ensure that our son would always have a deep understanding of his roots—how he came to be and the stories that shaped his heritage.

The name RITRUT comes from the Maltese word for “photo.” While the correct spelling in Maltese is Ritratt, it is pronounced “RITRUT,” making it a fitting name for a platform centred around capturing and preserving memories.

RITRUT offers users the ability to store and immortalize their memories in real time and share them securely with loved ones. With the help of AI-powered tools, the platform simplifies the process of documenting memories:

• Bulk-import photos from multiple devices, automatically organizing them chronologically or by person/event.

• Add context to photos using voice activation or by generating descriptions with AI such as ChatGPT integration.

We identified a need for better services in the Aged Care space and created Tether by RITRUT  which provides unique benefits for aged care patients and providers, both in residential facilities and in home-based care:
